“Travel definitely helps with your health. Physically, you’ve got to get fit to do the sort of trips I like, which means plenty of walking before I go. Mentally, it’s the pleasure in the anticipation that’s great. I enjoy doing all the research beforehand, then you’re stimulated by what you see when you’re away, and then there’s the joy in coming back and making a photo book. The only problem for me is I travel too much and so I’m behind on my photo books.”
